UCAB methodology

The methodology used to carry out the degree thesis at the Andrés Bello Catholic University of Venezuela is presented in 4 phases:

Phase 1 (Summary, Introduction, Chapter I: Statement of the problem)

The summary allows the reader to interpret the degree work in a global way. For its part, the introduction, has a
slightly more detailed description
of the whole thesis, in turn it has the organization and content of each chapter.

For its part Chapter I or approach to the problem, should be drafted so that it can answer questions how of what? For what purpose? And of course make clear the existing problems and
future responses
to it.

Phase 2(Objectives, Hypotheses, Chapter II: Approach to the Theoretical Framework)

In Chapter I in the UCAB we find the objectives classified in general objective and specific objectives. The overall objective is closely related to the title, while the specific objectives have the activities to be carried out during the completion of undergraduate work to solvency the existing problem.

As for the approach to the theoretical framework; this should only be done if the subject requires it, since there are purely practical thesis whose information for the theoretical bases is almost zero. Only if the tutor indicates the project should it contain,
or historical contextual framework.

Phase 3 (Chapter III: Reference Framework, Chapter IV: Methodological Framework)

For its part, the Framework Referencing in the UCAB, has all the historical, cultural and legal data, which were needed to carry out the project. It should be noted that this chapter is related to the objectives.

Chapter IV, or Methodological Framework, for its part, has the data used for the research of undergraduate work, this includes the type of research implemented, the place, the population and sample used, and of course, the techniques used for its elaboration.

Phase 4 (Ethical aspects, Bibliographic references, Annexes)

All points related to ethical aspects must be presented in the UCAB, detailing all the resources used, including materials,
human
resources, technology and more.

As for bibliographic references, these include the sources used for the realization of undergraduate work, the type of font used must be taken into account either from a magazine, a web portal or a book in physical. All data must be placed.

And finally, the annexes, these encompass the entire graphic part of the project, we talk about the tables, the images (whether flat, or photographs) and much more. It should be mentioned that each annex must have its small description to know the purpose of the illustration proposed, the same is true of the tables and graphs used, these must contain the name of the author and/or the source, and if created by the student, they should also be contain the necessary data.
